High school starts on February 1 for Year 7 students
First day of school this year for Year 7 students at Umina campus of Brisbane Water Secondary College will be Thursday, February 1.
They have been asked to arrive between 8am and 8:25am, entering via Gate 3.
They have been told they are required to wear their formal uniform - white shirt, with navy shorts/skirt and black leather shoes - and should bring their pencil case.
They have also been asked to bring packed food for recess and lunch, as well as a water bottle.
"We can't wait to welcome Year Seven students on Thursday, February 1, for their first day of high school," said Year 7 deputy principal Ms Susannah Murray.
"Year 8 and Year 9 students return on Friday, February 2."
