Bridge club holds lessons for beginners
The Brisbane Water Bridge Club will hold lessons for beginners starting Monday, February 12.
The eight weekly lessons start at 10am and are followed by supervised bridge games.
"You will be helped with all aspects of bridge until you are ready to play in our regular daily games," said teacher Ms Christine Hadaway.
"If you have enjoyed playing board games, or card games such as euchre and 500, then bridge is the game for you."
The club, which claims to be the Coast's "leading teaching club", aims to provide a venue for people to develop a new interest, meet new friends and keep their brain active.
It meets at the Peninsula Community Centre at the corner of Ocean Beach and McMasters Rds, Woy Woy.
The cost for the eight-week course is $50.
