Netball association holds coach accreditation workshop
The Woy Woy Peninsula Netball Association will hold a five-hour Development Coach Accreditation Workshop from 9am on Saturday, February 10, at Lemon Grove Netball.
The "blended learning" (online and face-to-face) course is targeted at club, association and regional coaches and teachers aiming to further their netball knowledge.
"The course is the second step in the national coaching accreditation framework and provides a good introduction to skill progression and fault detection and correction," said association president Ms Sharon Bailey.
Accreditation requires a 70 per cent pass in the online course Rules of Netball exam, as well as completion of a 4.5 hour face-to-face workshop, before proceeding to the next step.
