Around average rainfall for January

The Peninsula is on track for an average January rainfall total.

A total of 98mm had been recorded for the month as at 9am on Friday, January 19, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Umina.

Average for the month is 118mm.

Most of this month's rainfall was recorded on one day, with 62.6mm recorded in the 24 hours to 9am on January 15.

A fall of 13.0mm was recorded on January 18, and falls of more than one millimetre were recorded on nine other days.
