Named as volunteer of the week
Central Coast Cricket Association has named Bec Tomlinson from Southern Spirit Cricket Club as its Volunteer of the Week.
Southern Spirit president Mr Anthony Clarke said: "Bec Tomlinson is a long-time valued member of Southern Spirit Cricket Club.
"During her time, Bec has coached, played and held various committee positions.
"This season Bec has been instrumental in coordinating the growth and development of women's cricket in our club.
"Bec is also an integral member of our executive committee as club registrar and PlayHq wizz.
"On top of all that, she is also our Co-Coordinator of Junior Cricket.
"Her knowledge of the game and our players is a great asset and support to our junior coaching team and grade captains.
"Always willing to assist wherever needed without any fuss or accolades, we are very grateful to have Bec as a volunteer and friend at our club."
