Commemorative plaque features Peninsula News

The Umina Beach Men's Shed has been presented a plaque to commemorate the opening of its new shed.

Member Mr Sam Pansare created and crafted an industrial aristisic plaque featuring the Peninsula News edition 607, which reported the opening.

At the presentation, the original founders of the Umina Shed, Mr Bill Ide, Mr Lionel Blayden and Mr Darrell Pannowitz were recognised for their efforts in the development of today's facilities.

During his presentation, Mr Pansare stressed the importance of remembering the efforts of all the members past and present who put their time and efforts into developing and creating the current facilities which members use and enjoy.

Pictured from left are Mr Ide, founding president Mr Pannowitz, current president Mr Gary Gilday and Mr Pansare.
