Cost of living remains of paramount concern to most Australians.
To ease the financial strain on Australians we propose:
A reduction on the fuel excise of 26 cents per litre for a minimum two years, with a view to making this permanent.
Allowing parents to 'income share', saving thousands in income tax.
Allowing aged and veteran pensioners to work without their pension being affected, potentially adding 600,000 workers back into the workforce.
Raising the tax-free threshold for self-funded retirees to $35,000pa.
Eliminating the excise on alcohol served at licensed venues.
Immigration levels remain at record highs despite promises made by both the ALP and LNP. We propose:
A 130,000 per year immigration cap.
Deporting 75,000 illegal workers and immigrants currently in Australia.
Ending the student visa loopholes that allow applications for permanent residency.
Reintroducing Temporary Protection Visas.
Introducing an eight-year waiting period for both citizenship and welfare.
Australia's national debt continues to increase at an alarming rate.
One Nation propose:
Ending the multi-national corporate rorting on natural gas by levying royalties at the point of production and creating a domestic gas reserve.
Cracking down on the estimated $3 billion in Medicare and PBS fraud.
Abolishing the Department of Climate Change and related agencies and programs, estimated to cost $30 billion a year. Protection programs for the natural environment would be left untouched.
Replacing Indigenous Agencies and departments with direct grants and essential remote infrastructure based on need not race, saving $12.5 billion.
Returning the NDIS to its original purpose, helping the severely disabled, and introducing means testing potentially saving $20 billion a year.
