New technical director at Southern and Ettalong
Southern and Ettalong United Football Club has announced the appointment of Josh Jamieson as its technical director for 2025.
"Josh is a current Football NSW Sports School Coach whose football journey began with a decorated youth career, before playing senior football with Blacktown City and Hills United in the State League," said club president Ms Stevie Skene.
"An injury unfortunately brought his playing career to an early close at the age of 23.
"His coaching career spans both Australia and the USA, including roles as technical director at Rouse Hill Rams in 2008 and assistant coach at Gahanna Lincoln Lions High School Division 1 in Ohio in 2011-2012.
"Josh spent more than seven years at Southern and Ettalong United, coaching both boys' and girls' programs before joining Marconi NPL 2 Girls, where he coached the under-14s, under-15s and under-20s over three seasons.
"Most recently, he coached the under-18s and assisted the under-23s at Sydney Olympic in the NPL 1 Girls competition and is Southern and Ettalong United's current 14s Pathways coach.
"Josh also currently serves as the Football NSW Naidoc State Team Coach for the under-16 boys."
