Greens: Cheryl Wallace

The Central Coast is beautiful, and I want to keep it that way.

As a Registered Nurse for 45 years, mother, grandmother, bird and nature lover, I see the community through volunteering with Oz Harvest, Surf Life Saving, Landcare and my outdoor activities.

Intergenerational unfairness is growing while we pay more for basics and billionaires make massive profits.

The Greens will deliver cost of living relief by taxing billionaires and large corporations to pay their fair share of tax to fund services and make supermarket price gouging illegal.

The Greens will address housing affordability by ending tax handouts to wealthy property investors, including negative gearing changes, caps on rent increases, and build homes people can afford.

The Greens will urgently address the climate crisis and environment protections to support clean, cheap renewable energy and end native forest logging.

No new coal and gas, end subsidies to polluters and no nuclear.

The Greens will fight for healthcare and education with dental and mental health into Medicare, GP for free, fully fund public schools, quality, free early childhood education, end student debt and free university and TAFE.

The Greens will prioritise First Nations Justice on Closing the Gap and support the International Court of Justice immediate ceasefire.

The Greens will keep Trump politics out and redirect AUKUS to benefit Australia's defence.

Greens policies work for people.

See https://greens.org.au/ I'll stand up, speak out and act to deliver real solutions for the Central Coast.

If you want to change you have to vote for it.
