Bridge club holds premier event
Brisbane Water Bridge Club's Open Teams club championship is the club's premier event of the year and the Country Teams qualifier.
The tournament was held over two sessions with 10 teams signed up.
Team Foate won the day with a clean sheet of nine wins.
Team Fane picked up second place with seven wins and two losses.
Third place went to Team Foster with five wins and four losses.
The championship was directed by Peter Hume, who is in demand at other clubs for higher level events.
The day closed with drinks to celebrate the 2025 champions.
