Little Theatre 2025 season starts

Woy Woy Little Theatre has opened its first play of the year, the Australian comedy Killing Katie: Confessions of a Book Club.

The plot follows members of a book club, more than a decade after one of their members died.

Despite having died, she is still very much alive in the minds of the four women who witnessed her shocking death at book club.

None of them have met again or dared whisper her name.

Now, the club's former Queen Bee Robyn has written her first novel: Killing Katie - Confessions of a Book Club.

The play explores the intricacies, depths and power plays of female friendship groups, through a contemporary Australian dark comedy.

Written by Tracey Trinder, the Little Theatre production is directed by Kelli Ward and runs for 10 performances over three weekends.

The role of Linda Chambers is played by Sam Young, Sam Andrews by Julie Black, Robyn Winters by Judi Jones, Angela Winters by Sharon Hogan and Katie Kline by Jessica Dawson.

Subscriptions for the 2025 season are still available, with a saving of 20 per cent for all four plays.
