Former exchange student visits Rotary club
The Rotary Club of Umina Beach has had a visit from Belgian physiotherapist Ms Valentine Blampain who was an exchange student with the club seven years ago.
"We spent a delightful evening hosting our Rotary Exchange Student from seven years ago, Valentine Blampain and her partner, Martin, who are visiting from Belgium," said club publicity officer Mr Pat Lewis.
"While here they have enjoyed renewing acquaintances with many of Val's friends from her exchange year, showing Martin the sights of Sydney and the Central Coast.
"Since returning to Belgium, Val spent four years studying physiotherapy and is now a freelance practitioner with a hospital in Brussels.
"Val gave an address describing her life since her exchange, and thanking the club for the wonderful time we had given her on exchange."
