Woy Woy restaurant wins national silver award
An Indian restaurant in Woy Woy has won a silver award for Indian restaurants at the national Restaurant and Catering Awards held in Melbourne on Monday, November 11.
Last year, Spices 29 Goan restaurant won a bronze award after being State winner.
Earlier, this year, the restaurant was the regional NSW Indian restaurant winner for the Restaurant and Catering Awards.
Restaurant owner Mr Nelson Fernandes said the awards were given annually to restaurants that demonstrated excellence in a variety of categories, including food, service, sustainability, and community involvement.
"Spices 29 stood out not only for its authentic approach to Indian cuisine but also for its emphasis on forging relationships with local customers," he said.
He said his trained team has built a reputation for serving traditional Indian dishes with contemporary flair.
"Their passion for Indian cuisine is reflected in every dish, showcasing a commitment to flavours and Indian heritage.
"Since opening its doors in 2018, the restaurant has garnered attention from food critics, guests, and industry professionals alike."
He said the restaurant attempted to strike a balance between modern elegance and welcoming comfort.
"Guests enjoy not only exceptional food but also attentive service that makes each dining experience feel personal and unforgettable.
