Christmas lights display in aid of Vision Australia

The annual Christmas Lights Display at 380 Booker Bay Rd, Booker Bay, will be held again in aid of Vision Australia from 6:30pm on Friday, November 29.

Ms Shirley Crockett said she would be holding the display this year, despite the death of her husband Noel on October 15.

"My wonderful husband Noel built all the houses and characters in the Christmas display and I painted them all.

"We made a good team.

"Noel wanted the lights to continue for the community especially the children that come along, some now adults bringing their own children.

"Santa will be coming to greet the community from 7pm to 9pm on December 20, 21 and 23.

"We will also be having a competition to count the Santas in the display and of course the

Candy canes.

"We will again support the charity Vision Australia for the training of seeing-eye dogs."
