Jetski rescue near Paddy's Channel
The "rescue water craft" at Marine Rescue Central Coast provided a rapid response rescue of a jetski that had suffered an engine failure on "gold watch" on Saturday 16 November, according to the unit's publicity officer Mr David Wicks.
"This assist was complicated by the jetski's precarious location: shallow water between oyster leases adjoining Paddy's Channel.
"The craft employed teamwork to effect a successful rendezvous, assessment, long tow and safe return to Lion's Park boat ramp."
This photograph shows the long tow technique used for the assist, under close observation from Rescue Water Craft trainee Mr Antony Price.
