Eric Tweedale dies aged 102
Eric Tweedale has died at the age of 102.
Announcing his "peaceful" death to members of the Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club, secretary Mr Peter Springett said: "At 102 years old, Eric was the oldest Wallaby and a proud member of Umina Beach Men's Bowling Club."
He said: "Eric Tweedale was an English-born Australian retired international rugby union player.
"He played club rugby for Parramatta Two Blues, provincial rugby for New South Wales and internationally for the Australia national rugby union team as a prop."
Mr Springett referred to a tribute from the Two Blues Rugby social media page.
