Event held at Woy Woy for Carers Week
A Carers Week event was held at Woy Woy Hospital last week by Central Coast Health.
Carers, patients and staff gathered at Woy Woy Hospital for a morning tea, craft and "canine cuddles".
They tried their hand at weaving and had the company of four dogs from Doggie Dates.
"Carers play a vital role in our community, supporting family and friends living with disability, medical conditions, mental illness or who are frail and aged," said Central Coast Health chief executive Mr Scott McLachlan.
"Our Carer Support Unit provides support to local carers as well as hosting social events and opportunities to connect with other carers."
