Virus numbers drop to lowest in two months
Coronavirus numbers have dropped to their lowest in two months.
There were 75 active cases last Wednesday, June 21, the lowest number since Monday, April 10, when there were 57 cases.
This is close to the average number of active cases in February and March, which was 75.75.
However, despite the drop in the numbers recorded, Ettalong Public School has experienced an increase in cases last week.
"Across our school, we have had a significant rise in the number of Covid cases," said principal Ms Jodie Campbell.
"Thank you to our families who have contacted us if they or their children test positively.
"Notification for these cases is sent to affected grades as a message through our Sentral Portal.
"Rapid antigen tests are available from our school office."
