Everglades to host Veterans' Day
Bowls Central Coast will hold its Veterans' Day at the Everglades Country Club on Monday, August 7.
It will be open bowlers over 70 years of age who are members of Ettalong Memorial, Everglades, Gosford City, Mooney Mooney, Ourimbah-Lisarow RSL and Umina Beach bowling clubs.
Club members aged 70 and over are invited to a free friendship and hospitality day and a game of bowls at the Everglades Country Club, said Bowls Central Coast secretary Mr Doug Rose.
"Players need to arrive at Everglades at noon for a light lunch and play will commence at 1pm," he said.
Veterans who attend will be the inaugural recipients of the Bowls Central Coast Veterans Badge.
Dress is club uniform.
