Hornsby hosts Woy Woy for rugby union round nine
Hornsby hosted Woy Woy at Mark Taylor Oval for round nine of the Central Coast Rugby Union.
It was the home team which won on the day 76-7 at the halfway point for the season.
The first half was an even affair.
Hornsby scored first to lead 5-nil, but it was Woy Woy who responded quickly and took the lead 7-5.
The remainder of the first half was quite even but it was Hornsby who led at the halftime break by 15 points to 7.
The second half was all Hornsby.
They were able to pile on 61 further points to simply outclass Woy Woy in the second half.
Woy Woy had no answer to the attack.
It was an excellent performance by Hornsby who are gradually getting back to some really good form.
Woy Woy were best served by flankers Casey Woodford and Atone Reuel, and halfback Tirado Pakal.
