Speechcraft course planned

Ettalong Beach War Memorial Toastmasters Club will run a seven-week speechcraft course starting next month.

It will be held at the Ettalong Beach Club from Tuesday, February 3, starting at 7pm.

Speechcraft is a short course designed for people wishing to improve their speaking skills, according to club member Ms Jan Cummings.

"In today's electronic society, face-to-face communication is becoming less and less," said Jan, who runs the course.

"Some young people find it difficult to handle simple interviews or daily conversations.

"This course has helped many people, not only into a better position in the workforce but better communication on a daily basis," she said.

Cost of the course is $90.
