A larger kindergarten

Pretty Beach Primary School has reported larger than usual kindergarten enrolments for this year.

Otherwise, school numbers appear to be quite stable, said principal Ms Jill Godwin.

The school will have two composite classes: for Years 4/5 and for Years 5/6.

Students from the school attended a ceremony to receive a participation award in the Gosford Council School Environment award program.

They were Claire Connolly, Victoria McCall and Kara Duffy.

They won a $150 for the school's environmental programs and several books for the library.

Year 4 students from Pretty Beach Primary School were filmed for a channel nine Today show segment last year.

The piece was about a walk in Bouddi National Park.
