Envirofund applications close

Environment groups on the Peninsula have been encouraged to apply for money under Round Two of the Australian Government's Envirofund

Federal Member for Robertson Mr Jim Lloyd said that applications closed at 5pm on Friday, January 30.

In this round, preference will be given to projects in coastal and marine areas, related to activities that benefit natural wetlands, in the rangelands; and that involve indigenous people, he said.

Guidelines, application forms and helpful hints are available from http://www.nht.gov.au or by telephoning 1800 065 823.

The application will need to be filled in and posted.
