Maddison to sing at State titles

Maddison Roots from Umina Surf Life Saving Club will sing at the opening ceremony of this season's Junior State titles.

Maddison won the honour when she became the New Zealand and Australia Junior idol.

Chelsea Johnson and Robert Moate, also from the club, have been selected as Junior Club Captains and will also be the Club's nominations for the Central Coast Branch Junior Surf lifesaver of the year.

The club also recently raised $3000 in its annual doorknock.

The funds raised will go towards repairing and maintaining or replacing vital life saving equipment.
