Blues played at Broken Bay

Patonga Tennis, Sports, Social and Community Club will present Patonga Blues Across the Bay at Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre at the mouth of the Hawkesbury on Saturday, December 6.

Darren Jack and the Darren Jack Band with special guest Ray Beadle will perform at the event.

Support bands are Hipsister, with Carolyn "Pinecone" Packer on keyboard and Jenny Marie Lang on guitar and vocals.

Narrelle Cahill will also feature on the day.

Shoreline Blues, an ensemble of blues and jazz musicians on the Central Coast, will also come together especially for this event.

A special ferry from Patonga to the recreation centre will be provided to travel to the event.

Organiser Ms Jill Tweedie suggested guests could make a weekend of it.

"There is accommodation available at the caravan park or in one of the many holidays lettings," she said.

Guests should provide their own picnic lunch, drinks, sunscreen and picnic rug.

The first ferry leaves Patonga wharf at 11am and will return at around 6pm.

The music goes from 1pm to 5pm.

Numbers are limited and bookings are essential.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children 4-15 years.

Cost of ticket includes ferry to and from the venue.
