Surf Club enters Bay to Breakers

There were five competitors from Umina Surf Club in the recent Bay to Breakers fun run.

The race started off in light rain and finished in sunshine with over 950 people competing.

Marissa Moore finished first in her age group and Brigita Parmenter finished third in her age group.

Sam Brown, Garry Mathews and Greg Brown also competed.

The club is hoping to enter a team in a 24-hour relay in October to raise money for the Cancer Council.

A team of 10 to 15 people is wanted to either run or walk around the track at Mingara.
