Women's survival course
Child Abuse Prevention Service (CAPS) at Umina is holding a women's survival course, from Monday, July 29 at 10am.
This group focuses on how to be assertive and take care of self-esteem.
It is a group that also focuses on the challenges faced by mothers.
Issues to be discussed include communication skills, how to be assertive instead of passive or aggressive, how to say "no" when you want to, and learning how to feel good about yourself.
The course runs for six weeks and is free except for a small donation for photocopying and refreshments.
For enquiries, ring CAPS on 4343 1974.
