New printer opens business

A new printer has opened for business in Ettalong.

Trading as Print1Pete from his home on the waterfront, proprietor Peter Smith brings his 24 years of printing experience to the area.

"I am a printer by trade and have worked for large printing firms as well as managing instant print shops for many years," Peter Smith said.

"I noticed a huge gap in printing on the Peninsula and thought that it would be an ideal opportunity for me to fill that gap."

Peter has lived in Ettalong for 13 years and is married with five children and another on the way later this year.

Peter coaches a junior soccer team and plays in an over-35 age group team as part of his involvement with the community.

He has a small offset printer on site and is awaiting delivery of a guillotine having only commenced business early in July.

He is able to undertake mono and colour printing tasks on site and has a large network of print-related businesses for larger jobs that he will supervise.
