Virus numbers drop to one 10th in three months
Active coronavirus numbers recorded for the Peninsula postcodes of 2256 and 2257 have dropped to around one 10th of their numbers three months ago.
The total for the two postcodes dropped from 198 on May 19 to 22 on Tuesday, August 15, according figures released last week by the NSW Government.
The 2256 postcode total was nine last Thursday compared to 99 on May 12.
The May 19 total included 114 active cases in the 2257 postcode area compared to 12 on Sunday, August 13.
