Lynne Gordon wins Major Singles final
The Umina Beach Women's Bowling Club held its Major Singles Final on Friday, August 11.
The game between Gale Hill and Lynne Gordon was played in weather described as "superb for bowling".
The players had a close match.
"Over the 29 ends played, there was not much between them," said bowling club secretary Mr Peter Springett.
"Gale would forge ahead but then Lynne would catch up.
"Finally Lynne managed to get the shots needed to win the game."
