Veterans Day held at Everglades Country Club
The Zone 15 Southern Region Veterans Day was held at Everglades Country Club on Monday, August 7.
The event was attended by members of Umina, Ettalong, Gosford City and Everglades Bowling Clubs.
A barbecue lunch was followed by the presentation of Veterans badges by Zone 15 secretary Mr Doug Rose.
"Participants then enjoyed bowls, comprising of triples and fours, followed by a presentation in the auditorium," said Everglades Men's Bowls assistant secretary Mr Grant Ireland.
"A great day that was very well received and enjoyed by all who participated."
Mr Ireland said his club welcomed new members and anyone interested should contact the Everglades Bowls Office on 4341 1089.
