Council offers 10-year leases over community land
Central Coast Council has given notice that it intends to offer 10-year leases for the Pearl Beach Arboretum and the Woy Woy Community Garden.
The lease for the arboretum described as part of 69 Amethyst Ave, Pearl Beach, Lot 215 and 216, DP 755251, would permit fetes, cultural activities, celebrations, gatherings, weddings, exhibitions, demonstrations, commercial photos, filming and concerts.
The lease for the community garden at 85 Moana St, Woy Woy, would permit the community garden, nature play activities, bush regeneration and educational programs.
No further details have been given.
Submissions may be made until September 11 via an online submission form, by email to ask@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au or by post to PO Box 20, Wyong NSW 2259.
The council previously advertised its intention to offer a three-year lease over Ettalong Beach Village, at 1-3 Fassifern Street Ettalong Beach, to INA Operations Pty Limited.
The lease would allow it to operate as "a caravan park in accordance with the Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act".
The closing date for submission was August 14.
