Day of culture and activities at Woy Woy
More than 300 students engaged in The Koorana Cup, a day of culture and activities at Woy Woy organised by the Aboriginal Education Consultative Group for the Peninsula earlier this month.
Police from Brisbane Water Police District were invited to attend, and were represented by Senior Constables Renae Jackson and Kurt Vallin.
"The day which began with an Acknowledgment to Country followed by a smoking ceremony and traditional dance, and finished with a series of Oztag games and a big lunch."
