Students asked for biscuits and sweets

The grandfather of a sailor on the HMAS Kanimbla has asked students at Brisbane Water Secondary College to send biscuits and sweets to his grandson.

The sailor Seaman BCR Mills, a former student of the school, is aboard HMAS Kanimbla in the Middle East.

He has told his grandfather John Onely that their rations were basic.

Students from Brisbane Water Secondary College Woy Woy Campus were asked to help Seaman Mills and his fellow sailors by bringing in packets of biscuits or packets of sweets.

Mr Onely said he would package them and send then to the ship.
