Annual fund-raiser for children
An annual fund raising event will be held in Woy Woy for the Central Coast Community Chest and children's charities.
McHappy Time begins on Wednesday, April 23, at McDonald's Woy Woy.
Last year, the local store raised $4191 during the two-and-a-half week fundraising event.
McDonald's Woy Woy licensee, John Ursino is urging local residents to help the restaurant raise as much money as possible for children's charities.
"People can contribute to McHappy Time by purchasing specially designed cardboard helping hands for $1.
"Businesses can purchase corporate helping Hands for a minimum of $10 and do their bit for this great cause.
"All proceeds from the sale of helping hands go to the store's nominated children's charity," he said.
"On Saturday May 10, one dollar from the sale of every Big Mac will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
Donations to RMHC can also be made at all McDonald's restaurants on the day.
Ronald McDonald House Charities supports Ronald McDonald Houses and other programs which help seriously ill children live happier, healthier lives.
