Public school holds open day

Woy Woy Public School held its Open Day for Education Week on Wednesday, August 9.

The day commenced at 9.15am with a Kinder to Year 2 Mini Olympics.

Points for teams were allocated on sporting events as well as a march- past.

Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded on the day.

Other activities in this year's program included performances by the school's Dance Group, Primary School Choir and the Kindergarten Line Dancers.

Highlight of the day was the official opening of the Covered Outdoor Learning Area which has been a major fundraising venture of the school's P & C over the last two years. It has been sponsored by Campbell's Building Materials of Woy Woy.
