Looking for angels?

It is surprising how many wonders are before our very eyes and unless we are in need, we take little notice of their existence.

I refer to Brisbane Waters Private Hospital and, until I required a heart by pass operation, I knew very little about the hospital or its services, as my wife and I had always been treated in Sydney hospitals.

The services offered by Brisbane Waters Private were first class and the staff were wonderful, from the cleaners to the surgeons.

The equipment and techniques used for my operation were the most up-to-date in Australia and carried out by top surgeons.

The Intensive Care Unit was incredible.

The staff were always happy, well-organised and extremely competent, yet they still took the time to explain the workings of every piece of equipment on my body to my wife.

The Coronary Care and Surgical Wards are run like clockwork.

During the entire time of my stay in hospital, my wife Fay was treated like royalty.

She received accommodation, meals, security and company to occupy times she could not be with me.

Enquiries were always made as to her comfort in the relatives' accommodation.

The follow-up after the operation is also another feature of their care for their patients.

I think we are very fortunate to have such a wonderful caring organisation in our community and if Heaven is looking for any of its Angels, it will find them at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital.
