Fishing News

Another month has passed with cool winds and rain, big swells around with cold water in the area.

Fishing has been average.

Catches have been bream, whiting and leatherjackets in Paddys Channel and the leases.

Woy Woy T-Wharf have been bream, tailor and the odd blackfish, an odd salmon also.

Fishing the rip has resulted in good reports of large bream and tailor and the odd soapie.

At Ettalong, blackfish and the odd flathead are being caught, with good sized whiting on the beaches.

On the "outside", there have been some good catches of schnapper, mowong, flathead, and some kingfish are coming around.

With the warmer months nearly on us fishing will improve.

So for the fisho you have to bide your time 'til it warms up a bit.
