Family movie night to raise funds for Cancer Council
A family movie night to raise funds for an entrant in the Cancer Council's Central Coast dance spectacular will be held at Cinema Paradiso at 6pm on Wednesday, April 30.
Stars of the Central Coast entrant Ms Kim Cole, who is Ettalong Diggers tourism manager, aims to raise $40,000.
The movie will be the new Minecraft movie where "four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination".
"To get back home, they'll have to master this world while embarking on a quest with an unexpected, expert crafter."
Stars of the Central Coast has a new squad of local personalities this year who will dance for cancer.
The well-known locals are learning to dance in 12 weeks with the help of professional dance teachers.
With a target of $181,000, a night will include dancing, raffles, auctions, and entertainment.
The money raised will go towards Cancer Council NSW and their cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy, and support services to help those affected by cancer.
With inquiries about the event or Cancer Council services, phone Ms Holly Bennett on 4336 4507 or email holly.bennett@nswcc.org.au.
