Club hears of life of one of its members
The Rotary Club of Umina Beach recently heard about the life of one of its members, Mr Bruce Croft.
The club meeting heard that he had served on committees and boards of organisations including school parents and citizens' associations, Umina United Soccer Club, Umina Bowling Club, Umina PCYC and the local Bendigo Bank branch.
He was a Queen's Scout, and twice president and twice secretary of the Umina Rotary club.
He also volunteered for National Service in his youth.
Mr Croft was born in Cooma, educated mainly in the Shire and spent his working life with the water board, rising to senior management roles.
