Rugby program leads to marriage in Romania
A Woy Woy Lions rugby player has taken advantage of the club's player exchange program to go overseas, to visit many countries and to meet the love of his life, according to club president Mr Phil Burgess.
He said Max Edwards and Braydon Mako left the club about 18 months ago to play rugby "Our club helped them find a suitable club with Southwold RFC fitting the bill."
Max has now "tied the knot" with new wife Molly in Bucharest, Romania, at the end of February.
"Nothing in life happens until you make that first step," Mr Burgess said.
"If you are playing rugby with Woy Woy or are looking to play rugby, we are happy to support and help you to make this step to playing overseas."
