November rainfall is about average
Rainfall on the Peninsula for the month as at Friday morning, November 24, was 87.2mm, according to figures supplied by Mr Jim Morrison of Umina.
A total of 25.4mm fell in the last two weeks, with one fall of 14.7mm on Friday, November 17, and another 7.8mm recorded on Friday, November 24.
Average rainfall for November is 94mm.
With further rain on Friday and Saturday, it was expected this figure would be exceeded.
The total for the year stands at 705.8mm, which is 42.5 per cent less than the average end of November total of 1228mm.
