Jayne Mote is a 'voice of volunteering'
Rotary Club of Brisbane Water co-founder Ms Jayne Mote has been featured in Volunteering Central Coast's new book, Voices of Volunteering.
Ms Mote founded Rotary Brisbane Water, the newest Rotary club on the Coast, with husband Peter in 2019.
However, for more than half a century, Jayne has given her time to volunteer organisations.
"She has served as an assistant district governor, club president and district Interact chair of Rotary International," said current club president Mr Mitchell Gordon.
"Her recent accomplishments include co-founding our club.
"Jayne is currently serving as our club's membership director.
"She is also a driving force behind all of our major fundraisers.
"Furthermore, Jayne mentors local young people.
"She is a co-founder of the Central Coast Rotaract Club, home hosts exchange students and has served as a Rotary group study exchange program team leader.
"Her work is far-reaching, significant and a wonderful example of how volunteering can assist in changing communities and lives."
Volunteering Central Coast describes Voices of Volunteering as a genuine tribute to the volunteers who make a difference across the Central Coast.
This initiative, supported by Central Coast Council, "aims to recognise these individuals and share their inspirational stories".
