Bushland fenced for 'ecological burn'
Bush at the Burrawang Reserve fronting Hillview St and Railway St, Woy Woy, has been fenced off in anticipation of an "ecological burn".
Central Coast Council has installed signs in anticipation of the burn saying it "has taken place to stimulate regeneration and improve biodiversity values".
"The burn will also help to manage bush fire risk to surrounding properties.
"The bushland is sensitive to disturbance post-fire while it regenerates."
The signs instruct people to stay on the formal tracks and out of the fenced area.
