Barbecue abandoned

Umina Public School P and C was unable to provide a barbecue or tea and coffee facilities for its athletics carnival on Wednesday, July 25, due to a lack of volunteers.

"I would like to thank the one parent who did volunteer however one was not enough to go ahead," said principal Ms Lyn Davis.

"Perhaps we will have more support for the P and C next time they call for volunteers," she said.
