Olympics Day

Umina Public School held its Olympic Day on Friday, July 20.

Principal Ms Lyn Davis said it was great to see the whole school assembled for such an important occasion.

"The children enjoyed the day enormously and both the opening and closing ceremonies allowed children to march in their country teams just like the Olympics," she said.

"Mrs White coordinated the organisation between the school and the Be Skilled, Be Fit team and she did a great job as did our House Captains who lit the flame and gave the Athlete's Oath."
