Distinct computer skills
Woy Woy Public School students have achieved commendable results in the Computer Skills test with four students receiving distinctions and three students receiving credits.
"Given the wide scope of these competitions and the large number of students who have participated, not only from Australia but other countries, our students are to be congratulated on their achievements," said principal Ms Ona Buckley.
She said Tom Rodham from Year 3, Charlie Haldezos from Year4, Dylan Barrett from Year 5 and Thomas Pollock from Year 6 all gained distinctions.
The test was part of the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools program and is developed by Educational Assessment Australia, University of NSW Global Pty Limited.
