Nominated for awards

Empire Bay Public School has nominated two individuals to receive awards at the Central Coast Appreciation Awards Service at Narara Valley High School held on Thursday, August 2.

The school nominated teacher Mr Steve Campbell and counsellor Mr Brian Bazzo to receive awards of appreciation.

"Steve has given nearly 40 years of dedicated service to the students of NSW schools and although officially retired, continues to work as a casual teacher at our school," said principal Mr Brad Lewis.

"Brian has worked as a school counsellor for many years and has been a significant contributor to our school's Learning Support Team, offering sound advice to our staff and critical counselling to our students.

"Both gentlemen were very humbled by this gesture yet greatly appreciative at the same time," he said.
