Engineers look at drainage

Gosford Council has reported that its engineers have investigated a storm water drainage problem in Bowden Rd, Woy Woy.

The problem was brought to the council's attention through a petition from six residents of the street received on April 24.

The petition stated the failure of the existing storm water drainage in Bowden Rd from Burge Rd to the foreshore had resulted in flooding of Bowden Rd properties.

The petitioners submitted a proposed drainage plan with existing drainage photos.

They requested urgent action to remedy the failure of the drain.
