Gosford president steps down to bowl for the Eagles

Gosford City Bowling Club president Mr Brandon Wlllmette has stepped down to take a position at the Ettalong Bowling Club.

He said the position "gives me employment and at the same time the chance to forge a career in the sport that I love".

"I will be transferring to play bowls for Ettalong after I complete my current bowling commitments with Gosford."

Mr Willmette said he had been a part of the Gosford club for the past eight years, starting at age 13.

"Serving as president for the last 2.5 years, I have grown and learned so much."

He said the club had been a second family, filled with friendships, memories and countless moments of joy and excitement.
